A man who owns his own home is always just coming out of a hardware store. Franklin McKinney Hubbard

Well, it looks like the Mayan's had their calendar off a bit so you really do need a home inspection after all.

I'm Kent Duke and I started Old North State Home Inspections Inc. in 1999 after 20+ years in law enforcement (10 years as a crime scene investigator) and several years running a home repair company.   My NC home inspectors license number is 1070.  I've completed inspections on 800 sq foot condo's to 10,000+ sq foot estates.

What can Old North State Home Inspections do for you?  I will provide you with a thorough inspection of the home you are buying.  I'm going in the attic and crawlspace, opening the doors and windows, checking the electrical outlets, fixtures, fans and electrical panels, running the sinks, toilets tubs and showers, checking the stove, oven, dishwasher, disposal, opening and closing the garage door,  checking the roof, siding, trim, fascia, soffits, checking the heating and air systems.  All of this plus a lot more.

At the end of the inspection we will go over the finding and generally within 24 hours, you will receive a comprehensive report that is easy to understand and read.  Everything identified during the inspection will be included in the report. My report follows the Standards of Practice set forth by the NC Licensed Home Inspection Board.   Once you have received your inspection report, if you are not satisified with the home inspection and report, I will refund 100% of your inspection fee.
